At
Tour Andalucia we want you to have a great time and part of the enjoyment
of our tours is that you explore and find out the amazing history and
background of the places you visit without us treating you like children
and lecturing to you at each monument or palace.
We have guidebooks that you can use to read about the background to the wonderful palaces, cathedrals, churches or monuments and we take you to the doors of each of these. We do not pretend to be experts and as such, whilst we might mention one or two interesting facts, we don't whisk you around them in fully guided tours.
We have itineraries, but we encourage you to explore and take as much time
as you want to maximise your experience. We give you guidance on how much
time we think you need to make the most of your visit, but we strive to
be as flexible as possible and don't adopt the stance of 'one rule for all'.
We have had tour clients say Granada is their favourite, others say Cordoba
and others Seville. They all say how spectacular Ronda is.
So, you can see, everyone takes away their own experience and that is exactly how we want it to be. We want to encourage you to let your imagination take you to the times when people lived in these remakable places and what their lives might have been like.
If you prefer to be part of a large tour group and follow a guide from one spot to another being lectured to, then Tour Andalucia is definitely not for you. You will see large groups of 20 or more people, from other tour operators, being shepherded around the Cities following a guide holding up an umbrella and shouting loud to make sure everyone can hear. We think you will be grateful that you are not part of such groups when you take a tour with us and chuckle to yourself that those people will probably have paid significantly more for a significantly less experience.
If you like to explore, soak in the atmosphere in your own time in relative peace and quiet and be part of a very small personal group, possibly of just two, three or four people who can each think for themselves, then you will relish in a cultural tour with Tour Andalucia.
We don't put you up in large hotels, which whilst no doubt comfortable, can lack in being personable. You stay in our lovely Villa where we live as a family. However, you are in a self contained guest wing of the Villa complete with its own entrance, well appointed bedrooms each with their own en-suite or dedicated bathroom and access to private terraces.
We are very friendly and love having people to stay and most of our clients find this a refreshing change to other 'run of the mill' and expensive tour offerings.
We are different from other tours in many ways and in ways that we like to think are better and result in a more enjoyable experience for you. In fact, don't just take our word for it, have a look at our guest book and let some of our previous guests tell you about their experience.
