At Tour Andalucia we want you to have a great time and part of the enjoyment of our tours is that you explore and find out the amazing history and background of the places you visit without us treating you like children and lecturing to you at each monument or palace.
We have guidebooks that you can use to read about the background to the wonderful palaces, cathedrals, churches or monuments and we take you to the doors of each of these. We do not pretend to be experts and as such, whilst we might mention one or two interesting facts, we don't whisk you around them in fully guided tours.
We have itineraries, but we encourage you to explore and take as much time as you want to maximise your experience. We give you guidance on how much time we think you need to make the most of your visit, but we strive to be as flexible as possible and don't adopt the stance of ‘one rule for all’.
We have had tour clients say Granada is their favourite, others say Cordoba and others Seville. They all say how spectacular Ronda is.
So, you can see, everyone takes away their own experience and that is exactly how we want it to be. We want to encourage you to let your imagination take you to the times when people lived in these remarkable places and what their lives might have been like.
If you prefer to be part of a large tour group and follow a guide from one spot to another being lectured to, then Tour Andalucia is definitely not for you. You will see large groups of 40 or more people, from other tour operators, being shepherded around the Cities following a guide holding up an umbrella and shouting loud to make sure everyone can hear. We think you will be grateful that you are not part of such groups when you take a tour with us.
If you like to explore, soak in the atmosphere in your own time in relative peace and quiet and be part of a very small personal group then you will relish a cultural tour with Tour Andalucia.
For the Villa based tour you stay in one of two Villas of similar standard in our local village of Mollina near Antequera. They have well appointed bedrooms each with their own en-suite or dedicated bathroom and access to private terraces or outside seating areas.
Room allocation is normally made at the time of booking, but if you have any specific requirements then please let us know and we will let you know if we can accommodate these.
Whilst we offer good comfortable accommodation, we are not a hotel and offer a completely different experience.
What we expect is that our guests come in a friendly and positive spirit, looking forward to being part of a small personal group in a homely atmosphere.
We will go out of our way to accommodate you and give you a great tour, but we do expect friendliness in return.
Our guest satisfaction record is second to none, running at over 99% and we get many referrals from previous guests.
We are not employed staff just going through the motions but we run a successful business that offers a totally different tour experience and we wish to attract the type of independent guests who appreciate that and are looking for such a holiday. If you wish to have a more formal, hotel based and less flexible holiday without the personal interaction that we offer then there are several coach operators who can provide this with you being part of a very large group. Not Tour Andalucia.
For those wishing to seriously indulge themselves, our 5* tours offer wonderful accommodation in some of the best hotels in Spain in the fabulous Cities of Andalucia, but you still receive our personal servive.
We are different from other tours in many ways and in ways that we like to think are significantly better and result in a more enjoyable experience for you. In fact, don't just take our word for it, have a look at our guest book and let some of our previous guests tell you about their experience.
